Corteo, the Missing Link

We see a strong link between Corteo and our style of funeral service at Pray Funeral Home.  A style that appeals to many folks.  We want to make many more people aware of our style of funerals.

Cirque Du Soleil and Corteo  can inspire people to use their imagination when creating a funeral for a family member.

Pray Funeral Home has used Cirque Du Soleil’esque elements in some of our services to families of Greater Eaton County.    We use our imagination and creativity to find meaningful ways to celebrates lives.  Some of our  services have been quite imaginative.  One service conducted on stage used many elements, musicians, choirs, video and eulogists with Cirque-like staging to move between the different acts in the funeral seamlessly.  Another life celebration funeral used mementos to tell the  person’s story.  A pool table set in the middle of the chapel.  The family and friends shot pool and told their favorite stories of the person.  Families in both examples found the funerals meaningful and healing.  We fulfilled our goal of helping families through the worst time of their lives so  they could smile again.

A Contest for tickets to Corteo?

To encourage more people to think creatively about a life celebration, memorial or funeral  Pray Funeral Home wants to take you to see Corteo.  Pray Funeral Home is conducting a contest to give away tickets to see Corteo in Detroit on January 12, 2019. Why? Because Corteo demonstrates how we can apply imagination to telling the life stories of family members and friends. An imaginative funeral equates to a meaningful funeral.  A meaningful funeral brings about healing for the family.  Healing helps them smile again.

C’mon enter the contest!

This is where the contest comes in.  Pray Funeral Home invites you to enter our contest. It is very simple.   Use your imagination and tell us how you would  celebrate the life of a family member, friend, or even yourself.  Use your imagination.  Visit our contest page on our web site for the few details terms and conditions and instructions.  Look through the page and click on the links to the entry form.    Write your ideas for celebrating a life.  Don’t worry about cost or limits.  Use your imagination, the more detail the better.

Another thing to remember is, funerals aren’t the only place where we celebrate lives.  Birthdays , anniversaries and high school graduations are other times we celebrate lives.  These events could benefit from creative use of your imagination.  So come on give it a shot.  Write out your ideas.
